This is a huge disappointment for players who have spent hours playing Skyrim on their PS3 and Xbox 360, but, in Bethesda’s defence, the data structure for the Elder Scrolls Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition are completely different. Players were expecting to load their old Skyrim saved data from their PS3 or Xbox 360, but Bethesda Softworks Vice President, Pete Hines, confirmed that players will not be able to transfer their saves from their previous-gen consoles to their current gen they cannot At E3 2016, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls Skyrim: Special Edition. The Skyrim: Special Edition will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in October. However, now Skyrim developer, Bethesda, have taken things into their own hands.
Skyrim is one of these games, with fans developing mods which upgrade the game’s visual graphics.
In the past, we have seen fans make mods that make an old game feel new again.
